DR. GREG & IVY BARCELON
A couple whose success in the Consulting for global business corporations brought them to reach out to people continually being marginalized by the very system they’ve so ardently supported, Greg & Ivy now offer their services to Universal Church worldwide, under the missionary activities of the Roman Catholic Church.
During an International Consultation on the Ministry to Migrant Workers held in Singapore last October 2002, Greg and Ivy initiated a program of putting their expertise and experience in service of the millions of migrant workers around the globe.
Since then, they have expanded their services to cover assistance to Parish Leaders, Lay Groups, Priests/Religious and other Consecrated People in New Zealand, Brunei, Singapore, Philippines, Japan, India, Canada, and Italy. They are currently involved in conducting Spiritual Renewal Retreats for some 350 Catholic Priests working all over India.
Greg & Ivy successfully combine their many years of first-hand volunteer work in the Catholic Church with a number of new and powerful human performance and organization development technologies. Among them are the techniques of Appreciative Inquiry, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Applied Kinesiology, and Thought Field Therapy, in addition to mainline Psychology. These technologies are proving extremely helpful in bringing people to Christ and the identification of their unique purpose in the plan of God.
Greg & Ivy are based in Mission, British Columbia, a small city whose name came from it being the first landing base of missionaries who brought the faith to Western Canada in 1860. Together with their three children, (two of who are married) and four grandchildren they live as a community serving and witnessing in the Catholic Church of the Archdiocese of Vancouver.
